The project aimed at brightening the day for the expecting mothers who had to spend Christmas holidays in a hospital. We also wanted to raise the awareness of the importance of emotional health of women with a baby on the way. Not only is it the mother's wellbeing but also that of her baby that depends on it.

We, "280 Days", were touched that the idea resonated with so many Ukrainians. Thanks to their support we prepared about 80 gift packages and together with festive greetings gave them to the expecting mothers at the Kyiv Oblast Perinatal Centre and the Kyiv City Maternity Clinic #1

The packages contained gifts but also special letters that were written by women who had personally experienced being hospitalised during their pregnancies. They could muster strength to encourage the expectant mothers with their heartfelt greetings. This kind of support is invaluable!

We are convinced that all the warmth and love given to the future moms through the gifts and letters had a positive effect on their wellbeing and, therefore, the wellbeing of their babies. It is our volunteers and benefactors who brought good spirits back to the expecting mothers.
