Olena has 13 years of experience at the Ministry of Finance and the State Treasury Service of Ukraine. She carried out a wide range of responsibilities: from rule-making to analytics. During the years of service in public office Olena was constantly interacting with government officials as well as the representatives of scientific, public and international organisations.

To accomplish the Fund's mission Olena is applying her skills to analysing data, providing expert judgement, fundraising and coordinating communication in order to bring about systemic change.

"I want to be part of socially significant changes. The idea is really simple - to shift the focus of the problem solving to the step ahead - to bring down the number of complications in pregnancies at the planning stage or even earlier! Since about 40% of pregnancies are unplanned, we should strive towards the health of all women of reproductive age. We should recognise that modern pregnant women are a vulnerable segment of population that needs support. Tasks that concern a lot of people require joint efforts. I am willing to put mine in."
